Travelling to Mombasa by SGR
Delegates travelling from Nairobi to Mombasa may use the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), popularly known as the Madaraka Express.
The train departs from Nairobi Terminus in Syokimau and arrives at Mombasa Terminus in Miritini.

Arrival at Mombasa SGR Terminus
Mombasa SGR Terminus is located in Miritini, approximately 11 kilometres from Mombasa Central Business District and within close proximity to Moi International Airport.
Upon arrival, delegates may proceed to North Coast Beach Hotel, Kikambala, Kilifi County, using:
- A taxi
- A public service vehicle (PSV)
- A hotel-arranged vehicle
- Conference-assisted transport during the designated pickup period
Assisted Transport from Mombasa SGR Terminus
Delegates arriving at Mombasa SGR Terminus on Monday, 3 August 2026, between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m., may be transported to North Coast Beach Hotel by:
- A Kenyatta University bus
- A North Coast Beach Hotel vehicle
Delegates intending to use this transport service are requested to provide the following information in advance:

- Expected arrival time
Delegates arriving outside the stated pickup period are advised to arrange their own transport to the hotel using a taxi, public service vehicle, or hotel vehicle.
